Last Post of Year 2008

Seldom you will see me blog early in the morning.
Blogging now is because I slept last night at 3am.... or rather i didn't sleep at all.
Was flipping on my bed from 3am to 9am..... then decided to woke up instead.
Abit restless now.
I'm hungry but I don't feel like eating.
I'm unhappy and I feel like 'hiding' or putting on a false front but I can't.
Despite telling myself to take things easy and stop thinking...... guess its kinda of difficult....

Played with the kids for an hour earlier on.
Dun feel like going for the gathering with friends tonight...... but guess I'll just go for the sake of my presence and keep my 'mood' to myself.

22.5 more hrs and its goodbye 2008 and welcome 2009!

Well.... will be having potluck at friend's hse to countdown.........

And somehow I had made a decision for Year 2009.......and before the decision effect I wanna do something..... but guess it will not happen already...... perhaps its my fate...... sigh..... sorry if I had push my luck too far..... guess there won't be other times liao.....

Anyway today went with Cher to Tampines IKEA to shop for shelves & a digital clock for my room but in the end only got my black towel.

Then after that we went to DowntownEast for kopi and to see my ferris wheel.

Last sunday went to Ah Ma 77th Birthday at her house.... super many relatives lor..... equivalant to CNY's strength...... anyway hope that Ah Ma can be healthy and happy always and forever.

My 2008 Christmas!

Started with a shabu shabu dinner at Vivo with Shan on 19th Dec night :-)

We had a great time and took lots and lots of pics, camwhore.... haha.....

She even cooked for me...... still waiting for my xmas cookies leh......

Then on the 22nd Dec went to Bugis Sketches with Dajie, Ane and our most beloved Chloelle :-)

She even helped us took pics!

Dajie bought me a 2009 Diary and a paperholder and Ane bought me a batman t-shirt. Love you all always ;-)

23rd Dec, the gang went to Reginald & Cindy for Xmas Potluck.

I brought a mystery guest but they didn't really meet my expectation of the 'surprise looks' :-S

We had lots of fun with the WII......

No gift exchange as requested by ME! (lazy to go buy lah.....)

24th & 25th Dec 2008 - Fufilled one of my xmas wish for this year :-) Thanks Santa :-)

Had Xmas eve dinner and watched late night movie with her.

We even kinda of had our countdown in the cinema....lolz.....

Yah and the super coincidence thingy is that we met Raine & her bf in the same cinema just sitting beside us..... fainted.......

The movie was kinda of long and draggy, nearly to 3 hrs...... but I kinda of enjoyed it because of the company ;-)

Then we went Bedok 85 for supper and we had oily stuff because her happy food was closed. In the end she ended with quite severe gastrin pain..... so guilty that she ended up with pain because of my hunger :-( SOrry gal.

Luckily she's all right liao :-)

And thanks for yr warmer bottle, I sure will bring it to office to use it :-) And not forgetting finishing up all the rochers u got for me!

Erm...... there are times where a person can get really 'obsessed' with himself and the time just came... hahaha.... enjoy! ;-)

Fortune Telling

Morning woke up went all the way to Tuas to run some errands.

Then went to had my fortune told near Jurong West area.......

Personally I think the geomancer is quite accurate in predicting my character and some of my other experiences.

Overall

My life is actually quite a good life person in terms of career, relationship or fortune.....

Its just that all my current status are 'all hanging' and not being able to advance.

Once advanced, I'll 要风得风，要雨得雨。

I need not emphaize on getting which aspects to start first, all the three aspects will start and increase my fortune together.

He also concluded that I'm a 天宫孩 who will enjoy fortune, prosperity and smooth in everything in my life.

During my lunar age of 23, I could have stepped on or irriated certain things which makes my life full of hurdles until lunar 29 yrs old. Luckily my house 拜拜 helped me warded off the small hurdles and left me with untackled difficult hurdles.

As I was borned with 5.1 两 of fortune and life and was borned with a bit of 鬼胎, he proposed me to pray to 好兄弟 and 点灯 to resolve the rest of the hurdles. This doesn't mean i'm 'rearing' them ok and I'm not evil or eerie ok?

Was also told to avoid wearing black tops and do not wear 佛珠，佛牌，天珠 and other related stuff on myself. Moving black materials such as watches, cars and etc are all right.
Instead he proposed me to 穿金戴银 to increase my fortune.
Can attend 红或白事 and 拜拜 but do not use the flowers to bath as they are known to clean off the '邪气' in me. Guess I'm pretty 邪 huh? hahaa.......

Food to avoid: Turtle, beef and frogs as they diminished my fortune.

Avoid cold drinks as I have gastrin problems?

Career
My current career is ok but I'm destined to work with least effort to enjoy the max benefits. Right now its sufficient for my own life but however I will only start to work harder when relationship kicks in.

I'm not suitable for those '火木' career. Meaning not hawker, not running under the sun like property agent and etc.....

I should invent, create or design some unique things as my career. It could be like repairing or assemble computers and sell back to others....

I need to do something which require unique skills. Hmm need some kind of thinking already....

However I should not start my own business, my 贵人 who is also my 小人 will give me opportunties to join him/her and from there I will strike out my own way and path.

Relationship

Will start anytime now.

Confident that things will happen before June 2009 and I should revisit him in July 2009

My her is someone who is in similiar line as me which could help me a lot in my career.

She could be a rather '听话' de person who will always listens to me ;-)

Fortune
贵人 will appear when my luck is there.

Small betting on lottery is ok but no gambling of other stuff as they will affect my career and everything.

Just buy a regular number, don't need to buy the rest ;-)

Health

Rather good, no need to worry much.

My Views of Accuracy
- He predicted my character rather accurately. He mentioned that I'm someone who thinks alot and my mood & character and be quite extreme in the shortest period of time. I can be bochup at times and suddenly very 'into' in when time arisies......

- He predicted that I do 疼 my mum and brother as to always ask them wat they want to eat when I'm coming home but we do get alot of conflicts due to certain reasons.

- He suspected that my room arrangement is bad for me so he asked me to draw my room arrangement to see how he can help me.

- He predicted that ~87% of my questioned are answered except for one which rather true as I had not asked him about my health at that point of time.

- He predicted that I should had struck lottery between Feb 2008 to yesterday and indeed manz ;-)

Guess Lion had been pretty 'naughty' for the year 2008 and therefore Santa had decided only to fufill my wish of getting a new job.

As for one of the other 2 wishes, he might still be observing my 'conduct' before making a real decision.

Career Tremors

Early morning met up with team lead and manager.
Finally they broke the news, we are being restructured.
Out of the entire team of 10 person, 8 will be transit out in phases leaving only 2.
And yes, that includes me.
I'm one of the 8 that will transit the latest, next July.
But then I will be re-transit to another team wef from Feb and this new project will only last until end June.
Maybe I'll make bridges and connections at the new team and hopefully there are new opportunties outta ;-)
But still I'll have to find new directions before that.
Anyone has good lobangs for me must contact me ok?

Wrapping Up Year 2008.....

18 more days to wrap up year 2008 and this year had been a pretty eventful year for me....

1. Had my first car collision on eve of CNY and my first human knockdown 2 weeks ago. First time went into Traffice Police HQ too.
2. Attended many beautiful friends weddings, also first time being 'Brother' troupe. (Adrianna&Ivan, Amos&Jasmine, Yunbing&Hubby, TzerHuei&Winnie, Reginald&Cindy, Jason&Wife and Eric&Jas) - Pictures as below
3. Changed a new job. Pretty exciting in the first place but got pretty pissed off by the recent project. My team lead left and was replaced by a workaholic mum, so far so good :-) Getting to know the fun and crappy northstar team is a consolation for me.
4. Got my first GPS, the new Nokia navigator which sometimes brings me to 'tour' around singapore. But still its quite reliable. Might consider a real GPS next year.
5. My first overseas business trip to Japan. Not as exciting as I thought but still its a good exposure and experience.
6. Also went Batam (my first Indonesia trip) for a short getaway for PG's Belated Birthday Celebration. - Pictures as below
7. First time played tables games at Genting.
8. Replaced my >5 year old Lifebook with a new blackie. Nicer looking, more portable but specs not as good as expected.
9. Volunteered myself for my first CCF volunteering event 'Hair For Hope 2008'.
10. My dearies gave me my most happiest birthday party in my 28yrs of life. And its my first time i had my bday in mac where all my different bunches of super good friends turned up.

Last but not least, every year there will be surely be a gal who will appear in my life to stir up 'tremors & turmoils' in me and my feelings. And this year is no exception, she gave me good memories, absolute care & concerns and attention, fun and comfortability and many many doubts & uncertainites. I'm simply tired.

Batam Getaway

Happy Moments

Am quite 'happening' lately, therefore couldn't really find time to update my blog.

Had a pretty packed week the week before...... but am really quite happy to meet up with some good friends.....
Attended two of my friends weddings in Nov..... and one over the last Sun.
Had been working till wee hours for the past weeks..... therefore last sat went Batam with my ex-colleagues was really a good getaway and a good chance to catch a breather.
But during the getaway, my thoughts were somewhere else..... and I guessed some of them noticed ;-)

Last thurs night had a freak accident when I was sending my friend home.
Knocked down a china boy aro 8 to 10 yrs old. He crossed the road safely with his guardian and he then jumped back into the road upon seeing 2 big dogs.... then bang lor..... sigh.... then we called for ambulance and police.
Accident happened at 9plus pm... then TP came at 10plus pm.... then they asked me to go to the TP HQ at Ubi for investigations..... was there until 1plus am... then sent my friend home and reach home at about 2plus am.... super shagged..... I think my friend quite a shock cause this is her first accident and first time in police station...... so sorry......

Despite being so busy and tired..... I still managed to find some private happy moments with my friend. Had been going out for jap dinner which the both of us likes... cuppa, jalan jalan..... and maybe movies soon. Feel really relieved, comfortable and happy...... hope there are many more such private moments to come :-)

Last night worked till 3am, now going to coma liao..... hope to update more news soon.
