Fri went out with karkees and foot started to ache terribly at night again so took some painkillers and went to sleep.

Sat felt better liao so took my car to friend's uncle workshop for quote to repair the entire car.
Was quoted at 1k...... walau super ex leh.... so in the end decided to pass it to my dad's regular workshop which quoted me $700 for everything.

Sat night felt super cold at abt 3am..... so took temp and temp was abt 37.6C
Took some panadols and fever subsided in the morning.
But still took some more panadols and met up with Sec school friends and caught a movie.
Was quite cold throughout the movie and therefore couldn't really concentrate on the movie.
At night came back at abt 6pm and again took temp which was 39.4C!
Worse thing is that I started to have diahorrea also :-(
Quickly took some and went KO, didn't even had dinner.
Mum woke me up at about 3am for another dose of panadols.
Entire night keep running to toilet.

This morning woke up and took temp.
Was about 37.4C.... so decided to go and see a doc for the fever and diahorrea.
Doc took my temp and was abt 39.2C and I was diagnosed with gastro viral infection.
So he gave me 2 days mc to rest fully.
Sigh, last mon mc for foot pain, today mc for infection..... wat a lousy 2008 for me :-(
Had medi and KO for 5 hrs until 4pm plus then had some work discussion with colleague
Just took dinner, medi and bathe hoping to bring down the temp.
Also drank a lot of water since last night..... but still fever keeps coming back :-(
The medi also makes me very drowsy and headache :-(

Hope I can recover and go back to office tomorrow.
Going to rest liao..... Nitey everyone!

Yesterday worked from home caused leg not fully recovered yet.
Also missed company's 开工饭 at Holiday Inn's international buffet :-(

Today have to go back cause have to start learning from colleague who's leaving soon.

Dad supposed to drive and send me back de but bro took the car out..... so took cab back lor.
Guessed I'm too used to driving and taking train n bus..... felt like 'sea-sick' the moment i reached home.... haha......
Foot hurts when I reached home.... sigh.... maybe should rest more.... but still have to go back to work and learn leh..... also dun wanna waste my mc..... just took my painkillers..... hopefully tomorrow will be well.

Since 2nd day of new year, those kids that my mum had babysitted before all came to visit us.
And this cute plump thai boy, Chano came on the 3rd day :-)Woww...... Chano's still so fat and cute..... this time round he can speak more words liao....haha... so cute....

Had been 'confining' at home since the accident on thurs night, lost all my freedom and funz :-(
To minimize pain, I DIY banadaged my own foot up so that the joints won't move as much.
My friends who came to visit me last night still said I'm very 'professional' wor.... haha...'Visiting' is one excuse lah.... they came here to open gambling den also.... and ended up only me as the only winner...... forgot to tell them 情场失意，赌场得意 ;-)
Am really super heng that night..... although not many blackjacks..... but still got a lot of 二十一点 and 五龙 when being banker..... they 20 points also difficult to win money from me.... ho ho ho.....
This noon went to NUH A&E to take x-ray.
Doc said its ok and gave me 2 days mc.... today and tomorrow...
Then I asked her..... give me sun for wat? She replied that that is their SOP..... fainted....
Reached home and dugged out the game that I bought 2 weeks ago.... at least some motivation for me to come home right after work :-)

Lousy New Year

Nearly bought the Nokia Navigator in a fit.
Drove there with bro and even took a queue num liao....
In the end, while waiting for the super long damn queue...... managed to convince myself to wait for a few more months until my contract reached 12 mths then can get it at at least $150 cheaper, hehehe.

Had new year eve's reunion dinner at 云南园@NTUAlumni.
Decided to have it outside instead of the regular steamboat at home.
We were the first batch of guest that started dinner at about 5.45pm and ended at around 8.15pm. 2nd batch is right after that.
The feeling is like all strangers attending a wedding banquet together, dishes are served at the same time no matter you start eating first or later.
Service is poor.... plates were not changed and its kinda of difficult to get the waiters and waitresses' attention for the entire night. Think they employed mostly sec students and non-singaporeans.
Food is so so only.... given the price we are paying and the services we are getting.... definitely not worth it.
Maybe next year should go back to the regular steamboat at home..... cheap and good... and feel more homely too.
During the dinner, they got some lion dance troupe to come into the restaurant twice and outside once to attract the kids and adults' camera attention. The pathway is already quite narrow and yet they got the lion troupe to dance there with so many kids crowding around it..... super dangerous and causing 'traffice jam'.
Then they left the 2 lion heads and the drum outside where the kids played with it........ Ash automatically pose with the lion heads so I assume she wants me to help her take pics, haha......
Ash is really growing up liao...... talks a lot like a small adult and can sing quite a lot of CNY chinese songs wor..... haha.....
Most funny is that she will say "恭喜发财，新年快乐，'huat' ah!"
Must be her daddy taught her de.

Unprofessional de lion dance troupe that wear sports shoes :-(

Initially had no CNY mood until 初一 reached granny's house and saw so many relatives then the mood began to kick in.....
All the young nephews and nieces grew up liao...... everyone's either playing with DS lite or PSP.... nowadays kids..... so fortunate man.....
Had steamboat lunch....then chatted with relatives until 4plus pm and went home counting down to the movie date with my volunteering camp friends, hadn't been watching movie for almost a month liao..... Met them at about 9.30pm at Cineleisure.
Was happy to see them until I heard something which really makes me 'lost myself' for the entire night.....
Tried very hard to 'act cool'..... but really couldn't...... my mind keeps floating somewhere else and coming back intermittently throughtout the movie.
Finally mishap happened.

Crashed into a car which was also turning into the same lane on a 4-lane road in Orchard.
That car was in a one-lane road turning right and I'm in a 4 lane road which 3 of them are turning left.
So I saw the car turning and presume she's turning into the very first lane following the normal traffic rule..... and so I continued to turn left into the lane 3 of the road which lane 4 is the bus lane.
And who knows this stupid car cut 2 lanes into my lane which I didn see and my right bumper crashed into her left back passenger door.We couldn't reached an agreement on who's fault is that and therefore we exchanged numbers to contact after letting our own mechanic and insurance company assessed the fault and damage.
They just called me to say they would like to let the matter rest and each settle their own damage. I guess they know it's their fault liao so I also agreed to rest it lor. Come to think of it now, I should have ask them to pay for my damage and medical cost for my injured feet man..... sianz... As advised by my cousin, had told them to send me an email to say they would let the matter rest and not make any police report.
That's not worse........ found a cat sitting comfortably on my car hood..... not sure got any scratches on it anot.....sigh....
Reached home and discovered my right feet pain had worsened.... perhaps had some impact from the crash.....
Can't walk much since this morning and therefore had to cancel all my visits and gatherings for the next few days....
So piss off man..... wat a lousy start for the brand new year :-(

Today had a peaceful working day.
Planned dinner with ex-colleagues cancelled last minute :-(

Last fri went to trim my hair.... then also bought some color to color it myself...... bought clear brown instead of the previous mud-fire.... decided to give myself a change for the brand new year ;-)
New packaging also......


Last sat hang out with usual poly friends until 1am plus then reached home......
Might be having 'reunion steamboat' with them on chu-er......
